Danielle Hanson

Danielle grew up in Arvada, Colorado. A proud CO native! She picked up soccer at the age of 7 with her first team, The Hornets. She was so excited to play that she slept in her full uniform, cleats and all, the first night she got it. She was hooked after her first practice and the game has been in her life ever since. She played club soccer competitively with the Colorado Legends and the Colorado Edge and held a starting spot all throughout high school as captain of her varsity team. Danielle is part of the NWSL’s Angel City Coach Network where she coaches clinics
and camps. Through the ACFC Coach Network, in partnership with the Twinning Project, she also coaches at the Lynwood Detention Center teaching groups of incarcerated women soccer, leadership, and life skills through the game. And some Friday nights you might find Danielle on the pitch with Football for Her, a non-profit that “provides a safe space for youth who identify as female or non-binary to play soccer, and develop confidence on and off the pitch.” Since coaching, Danielle has found a whole new love for soccer and is thrilled to work with youth to teach, mentor, and share her passion for the beautiful game.
For Danielle, coaching means teaching youth to lead with empathy and respect; to teach them to commit to themselves and know that their voice, mind, and space they take up positively affects the world.
Danielle is thrilled to be a coach with the LA Bulls, and hopes to further her coaching career through continued licensing and education.
