James Dang
James is a former soccer player who joined the LA Bulls to continue sharing his passion for soccer. He previously played at the club and high school level in the Bay Area. Afterwards, he continued to regularly play collegiate intramural soccer at UC Davis, Stanford, and UCLA while pursuing his academic career in physiology and neuroscience. Soccer has been an integral part of James’ life and he is excited to share his love of the sport with youth soccer players.
Outside of soccer, James is a track and field athlete who competes at the Division I level. As a sprinter, he primarily competes in the 100m and 200m. During his time with the Stanford Running Club and UCLA Club Track and Field, he obtained and continues to hold multiple records at both clubs. He actively engages with the broader track and field community and coaches high school track and field athletes in Los Angeles. James is eager to share his knowledge of movement and speed with youth soccer players.
James recently completed his PhD at UCLA in Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology. He plans to now pursue his passions and explore careers in sports, coaching, and teaching.
