Jonathan Horst

Jonathan has been coaching and playing soccer virtually his whole life.

While playing as a varsity goalkeeper for the New England Prep program in high school, he opted out to focus on Wrestling at New York University, graduating with a degree in Anthropology.

The end of his competitive soccer days marked an increase in Jonathan's passion for what makes a winning team and soccer philosophy. While working in Sports Marketing for the New York Mets and AEG, Jonathan continued playing recreationally and began volunteer coaching at the grassroots level over an 8 year period.

Coaching full-time for 6 years now, Jonathan has had extensive coaching experience for multiple clubs throughout Los Angeles including Harvard-Westlake Boy's Soccer program as the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach.

Additionally, Jonathan's coaching philosophy is to develop intelligent players by training them to adapt to emerging trends in each match. Creating a  cohesive team where players are fully capable of changing their tactical approach depending on the opponent.

Overall, Jonathan brings a unique approach to coaching the entire individual, rather than only the player which aligns with the core concept of the LA Bulls Soccer Club development culture.
