Mele French

Mele co-founded L.A. Bulls with Kelly Parker with the goal to properly develop youth soccer players and to provide players with the tools and resources to succeed in soccer and in life. A lot of what L.A. Bulls players are taught will not only help them on the soccer field but help them overcome any challenge they may face outside of soccer and feel success all around.

Mele has had soccer in her life for over 25 years starting with her community start up recreational league, AYSO, and moving up into club programs, high school, Olympic development programs, elite soccer camps, collegiate, professional and national team affiliates.

French has been through every aspect and level of the game. She has experienced unsuccessful teams and very successful teams. She has been coached and developed by some amazing coaches all over the world. She knows what has helped her development and what hasn't. Throughout her playing career she has always found ways to give back to local communities by offering professional training to youth players who strive to make it to a higher level. The most important aspect of succeeding in anything is having strength mentally and psychologically. Mele focuses on building the mental, psychological and physical parts of the game.

Mele currently plays for the Santa Clarita Blue Heat of the UWS. In 2015, the former University of Oregon star suited up for both Seattle Reign F.C. of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the W-League's Seattle Sounders Women. Mele was named the 2014 W-League MVP after a championship season with the Los Angeles Blues, and played for Sky Blue F.C. when the team competed in Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) before she joined S.C. Freiburg in Germany's top flight.
