Jennessa Groves

Groves grew up playing soccer in Los Angeles. She has experience with volunteer coaching and conducting private trainings for youth. She is from Palos Verdes but attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate degree in Applied Movement Science and played Division 1 soccer while in attendance. After graduating she decided to attend graduate school at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) for a master’s degree in Healthcare Systems Engineering and continue to play Division 1 soccer. She currently attends LMU and plays soccer. She loves reading the game and helping young players develop their skills. She is passionate about creating a safe environment for young players to feel confident in their abilities and to grow not only as players but as people as well. Groves plans on graduating from LMU and pursuing an administrative role in the future while also continuing to coach and train youth players.
