Kyle McLeod
When McLeod was 20, he moved to the U.S. From Montrose, Scotland on a soccer scholarship attending The University of West Alabama while studying Sports Management with a minor in Business. During his 5-year college career he competed in 4 conference tournaments, 1 NCAA births and won the Regular Season Title and Conference Tournament in 2017. McLeod was named All-Gulf South Conference Team in 2019, All- South Region Team & voted as Players Player of the year in 2021. Mcleod Remained at the University of West Alabama until May 2023 where he was able to complete a Master`s Degree in Physical Education while gaining a valuable year as a Division 2 Assistant coach.
During summer periods Mcleod also played within the NPSL for Midland Odessa Socker winning the Lone Star Regular season Title in 2019 and for East Atlanta FC in 2021 & 2022 acting as one of their captains that lead the team to the National Playoffs in their Inaugural year.
Post-college he moved to South Carolina for the USL 2 season where he was made an assistant coach of the South Carolina United Bantams for the 2023 USL 2 season. The Bantams finished the season losing in the first round of nationals and 2nd in league with a record of 10-1-1.
Additionally, Mcleod began coaching in 2014 where he worked with a variety of different ages at Montrose Community Trust as a Community Coach. McLeod possesses a US D License, United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 3 and is currently working on his UEFA C License as well as being a Candidate for a upcoming US C License.
